News! Tesco Supports the Langwith Community Show at Rhubarb Farm

Richard Haigh, Community Champion for Tesco’s Chesterfield Distribution Centre, attended the Langwith Community Show, held at Rhubarb Community Farm, with Jodie Cook and Natasha Potter. Richard ran a tombola, raising £99 for Cancer Research UK, Jodie Cook highlighted food poverty supporting Natasha who highlighted fuel poverty by giving away TV switch off boxes that could save users £127 per year in Electricity. Visitors had the opportunity to complete an electricity survey which gave you the chance to win a food hamper provided by Tesco, this was won by Lynette Mcbryd.

Jason Watts, Tesco Dept Manager at Chesterfield said, “Community events give us a great opportunity to support local initiatives and partnered with the team of Jodie and Natasha it was a win, win situation.”
