News! Rhubarb Farm's Surprise Gift...

Rhubarb Farm has had a surprise gift...

A brand new Vauxhall 17 Seater minibus worth £26,000!

This was donated through a procurement company called Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) of Alfreton, which runs an awards evening called Building Communities for the construction and social housing sector.

EEM distributes surplus profit to community organisations and encourages its members - companies, local authorities and housing associations - to also contribute. The minibus has been funded by 20 companies mobilised by EEM to top up their own contribution, plus a deal done with Vauxhall.

At the awards evening they also added a personalised number plate and branding on the side of the minibus. This surprise is a huge boost for Rhubarb Farm, which transports volunteers from across North East Derbyshire and North West Nottinghamshire to the farm to help them improve their lives and contribute to community well-being.
